My energy is slowly returning

So we have been big slackers in our blog dept. Sorry to all. Let me just tell you that not much has gotten done around my house in the last month....so please no surprise visits. I think I am finally starting to get out out of the need to take a nap twice a day. Besides the fact of being extremely tired from creating Life....I am 12 weeks and 3 days prego today! We are all getting over being sick. I went to the emergency on Labor day for an ear infection.
Semanee started preschool 2 weeks ago she goes 2 times a week for 4 hours but, she asks everyday if she can go to school. I thought she might be slightly hesitant to leave me for that long but she loves it. We escaped up to the cabin this weekend and she caught 2 fish!! Scared her half to death but she was the only lucky one.
Ella Had pink eye 2 weeks ago, it was soooo bad she would walk up w/ her eyes crusted shut but she was still so happy. She runs around all over the place and tries to climb everywhere that Semanee does.
Allan passed his insurance tests and officially got his agent # on friday!!! It will take a while to get things up and running but it is a step in the right direction.....I hope.
I'll try to post some pictures later, I have to do it on Allans computer.

Nothing is Sacred with a 4 year old around!

So I've been nauseated for about a week and a half....I thought it was from these Colon cleanse tablets I was taking. So I stopped taking them and it didn't go away.....So I break out a pregnancy test that is in my bathroom drawer from when I found out I was prego w/ Ella Shay and it came back negative. I figure maybe the pills need to get out of my system....Friday I decide to go buy another test. Yes, this one was positive.....I am Pregnant!!!! That would explain why I haven't felt like doing anything around the house and sick to my stomach. Unfortunately, we told Semanee. We went to a friends house tonight for Sunday dinner and just as we are getting ready to say the prayer she says, " My mom is pregnant she is going to have a baby, it's gonna be a boy." Nothing is sacred with a 4 year old around.

Ella Shay Walks!!!

So...I walked in the door and Christine yells, "Hunny Check out your daughter!", and theres Ella shay walkin toward me. She took like 15 steps before she went down. Up until today 4 was her record. ;) so we grabbed the cam to share it with everyone!.. Enjoy.

HOT, HOT, HOT!!!!!

So Wednesday night the blower on our air conditioner stopped....not good. We just turned fans on for the night and survived but called the repair man the next day. The first company, the ones that installed it when our house was built, said they couldn't come out until friday sometime between 7am and 7pm (unbelieveable!). So we decided to do some calling around. Oh, by the way it was 5 years in June so our warranty was up, of course. We finally found someone to come out that day. They came about 11am and it was finally fixed at 4pm.....it only got to 95 degrees in the house and took about 3 hours to cool it down. It ended up being a circuit board on the blower and costing us $800 but worth it to be cool again. We also finally replaced our front loading washer.....we both hated it! It always smelled and was making our clothes smell. I used those "afresh" tabs they make for it to get rid of the odor and it made it worse. Our washer smelled like dead animal.....I put bleach in and it didn't help. So we went back to the old top loader. It is however earth friendly and only uses 15 gallons of water, so far we love it.

A little story about Semanee this week: We were riding in the truck and we had one of her friends w/ us Savannah. Semanee was saying "When we get to my house lets play pretend baby" . Savannah says "My mom says I can't play that game." Sem responds, "that's okay your mom's not there, you can play." Oh my goodness is this a sign of a wild child ahead? She is only 4 for petes sake....what am I to do? Anyway, I thought it was pretty funny but scary at the same time....I've got a rebel on my hands.

Ella Shay is finally take 3 or 4 steps on her own and getting more brave. She climbs up on the couch herself now but getting down isn't so easy.

Baby New Year meets Uncle Sam

This one was just too cute not to put on here.. after our near $300 :P food shopping spree for the reunion at walmart we found this little festive wig which Ella Shay graciously sported (while being restrained) for just enough time to snap the pic. lol

Catch up .....on our life!

So Ella Shay turned 1 year on June 30th. We just had a few friends over, nothing big. She was very dainty with eating her cake which made it nice for clean up. She Loves to eat paper so she enjoyed opening presents!
Semanee turned 4 on July 6th. We were up at the cabin for Allans family reunion with his mom's side of the family so she ended up having 2 parties. She had an Incredible hulk cake at the cabin, per her request. Then, a princess cake at her party on the 8th. We splurged and did it at pump it up. She had a blast w/ 28 friends!! I've decided she is only going to get a party every other year.....it's to expensive.
The family reunion was fun too.....a lot of people in one little cabin so by sunday we literally had cabin fever!!! There were 18 of us. We were in charge of games and we did a new one, Cracker wacker, you tie a saltine to fish line and tie it to the back of your belt loop, get something to wack w/....we used pool noodles, then have a tape off area which you need to stay in, then start wacking each other. When your cracker is gone you are out. The last one standing with any cracker left wins! The best was the 5 and under group.
Yesterday we went to Bartlett Lake with few friends of ours. The Silvas, McCrerys and Daines. Mike McCrery brought his boat so we got to ride on the Hot Dog. Semanee loved it! She has been very brave since she learned to swim the beginning of June. She loves to jump in!
