how to extract many thorns from a hand.. wax. lol

K.. so Semanee.. playing with her little friend Logan across the street saw what she thought were flowers on a cactus. which turned out to be little yellow thorns. After trying to pick them out one by one was entirely too tedious.. tried duct tape first.. lol didn't work so well.. then thought of Christines eyebrow wax.. (hey if it will pull out hair it should pull outt little yellow thorns right?) so heated applied and pulled and sure enough.. they all came out. her fingers are now hair free as well. lol

This years haunt

This is our haunt this year.. it really wasn't very scary compared to years prior but was still alot of fun. It always gives me a kick to hear a little shrill of surprise. The fogger worked amazingly well with the FroggysFog (professional grade. well enjoy the walk through.

Semanee and Ellashay all decked out in their trick-R-treat costumes. Semanee as a beautiful Cinderella and Ellashay as Biker baby..even in a pink jacket with a princess bucket people still said she was a cute baby boy.. can you believe it.

Funny Things Kids Say.....

I just wanted to share some of Semanees most resent crack ups!!! Last Sunday was our primary presentation, semanee's first. We worked hard all week memorizing her part. Of course they had someone up there to help if the kids needed it. So Sem steps up to do her part she gets the first 3 words out and then the helper starts to help her and she turns to her and says " I can do it myself". She started over and sure enough she did it all by herself!!!!
Then a week or so ago a little friend of hers, Ty was over and as he was leaving he ran over to say good bye and she sticks her hand up to stop him and says "I can only hug, I'm not age yet, I can't kiss you." Lets hope that stick for another 12 years!!!!
We also asked Semanee if she wanted to sleep up in her bedroom yesterday and she said "no, I'm only 4, when I'm 10 I'll sleep up there". Hopefully that is not the case. She has gotten so she will go upstairs without anyone again......so we are making progress!
Ella is still obsessed with the Shamu dance and chant and will randomly come out with it at the supper table or in the car. She is finally getting a 3rd tooth on the bottom, but still looking sweet as ever.

Jumpin in the puddles

So we stopped by the San Diego Temple after our Sea world excursion. It was beautiful as always. As we took pics and scoped the grounds the girls discovered some puddles left over.. well its a cute little video watching Sem and Ella. Ella does a little flashdance step. lol.

My energy is slowly returning

So we have been big slackers in our blog dept. Sorry to all. Let me just tell you that not much has gotten done around my house in the last month....so please no surprise visits. I think I am finally starting to get out out of the need to take a nap twice a day. Besides the fact of being extremely tired from creating Life....I am 12 weeks and 3 days prego today! We are all getting over being sick. I went to the emergency on Labor day for an ear infection.
Semanee started preschool 2 weeks ago she goes 2 times a week for 4 hours but, she asks everyday if she can go to school. I thought she might be slightly hesitant to leave me for that long but she loves it. We escaped up to the cabin this weekend and she caught 2 fish!! Scared her half to death but she was the only lucky one.
Ella Had pink eye 2 weeks ago, it was soooo bad she would walk up w/ her eyes crusted shut but she was still so happy. She runs around all over the place and tries to climb everywhere that Semanee does.
Allan passed his insurance tests and officially got his agent # on friday!!! It will take a while to get things up and running but it is a step in the right direction.....I hope.
I'll try to post some pictures later, I have to do it on Allans computer.

Nothing is Sacred with a 4 year old around!

So I've been nauseated for about a week and a half....I thought it was from these Colon cleanse tablets I was taking. So I stopped taking them and it didn't go away.....So I break out a pregnancy test that is in my bathroom drawer from when I found out I was prego w/ Ella Shay and it came back negative. I figure maybe the pills need to get out of my system....Friday I decide to go buy another test. Yes, this one was positive.....I am Pregnant!!!! That would explain why I haven't felt like doing anything around the house and sick to my stomach. Unfortunately, we told Semanee. We went to a friends house tonight for Sunday dinner and just as we are getting ready to say the prayer she says, " My mom is pregnant she is going to have a baby, it's gonna be a boy." Nothing is sacred with a 4 year old around.
